TSAMTO, January 11. In 2020, 639 units of engineering equipment, as well as more than 195 thousand sets of engineering equipment and engineering ammunition were delivered to the formations and military units of the engineering troops.
In engineering troops being shipped modern means of engineering armament, including search tools – the different types of mine detectors, ground-penetrating radar equipment, deep metal detectors, portable magnetic bombastically and special equipment – armored vehicles with continuous demining a mine trawl, a mobile engineering complexes clearance, military kits clearance, engineering machinery obstacle clearing IMR-3M, robotic demining "u-6" and fire "Uranium-14".
The range of means of forcing includes the modernized heavy mechanized bridges TMM-3M2, the modernized pontoon park PP-2005M, a set of deployment of temporary roads, towing and motor boats of operational and tactical level, engineering reconnaissance boats.
In addition, the engineering troops are also supplied with multifunctional water conservation complexes MKKV-1000, mobile drilling rigs PBU-100, sets of equipment for block-post equipment, pre-built fortification fortifications GNT-1 and GNT-2, power plants of various capacities, single-bucket excavators and front loaders, cranes for military purposes of various load capacities, military mobile sawmills and mobile engineering repair complexes, camouflage sets for summer, snowy and desert-steppe backgrounds of the underlying surface.
The purchase of basic samples of engineering equipment is synchronized with the delivery of training equipment-dynamic simulators and multimedia training classes for specialists, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said in a statement on January 10.
