The R30 3M30 Bulava Intercontinental ballistic missile (RSM-56-for use in international treaties, SS-NX-30-according to the NATO classification) is a Russian three-stage solid-fuel missile designed to arm advanced nuclear-powered strategic missile carriers of the Borey project.
The missile is capable of carrying several hypersonic nuclear individual guidance units. Bulava will form the basis of a promising grouping of Russia's Strategic nuclear forces until 2040-2045.
