On January 29, 2026, the fourth pair of new Su-30SM2 multi-role fighters built by Irkutsk Aviation Plant (IAZ, part of PJSC United Aircraft Corporation) received by the Belarusian side arrived at the 61st Fighter Aviation Base of the Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense Forces in Baranovichi. The arrival of new fighters was confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus. The planes have red tail numbers, which, however, are retouched.

The first pair of Su-30SM2 fighters received by Belarus (aircraft with red tail numbers "09" and "10", factory numbers presumably 10MK7 1117 and 10MK7 1118, respectively) arrived in Baranovichi on May 27, 2025, the second pair of Su-30SM2 arrived there on August 14 (aircraft with red tail numbers "11" and "12"), and the third pair arrived on December 26, 2025 (planes with red tail numbers "14" and, apparently, "15"). Thus, by now, the Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense have already delivered eight Su-30SM2 aircraft.
Earlier, Belarus had already received eight fighters of the previous Su-30SM modification, also newly built and equipped. The aircraft were delivered in accordance with the framework agreement concluded in June 2017 by the Belarusian and Russian sides on the supply of 12 Su-30SM fighters to the Air Force and Air Defense of Belarus. The final outline of the agreement was agreed upon during the 9th International Exhibition of Arms and Military Equipment MILEX-2019, held in Minsk in May 2019, at the same time the first contract for the supply of the first four Su-30SM aircraft was signed. At the same time, the delivery of all 12 aircraft to the Belarusian side was initially expected within three years.
The first four Su-30SM fighters (aircraft with red tail numbers from "01" to "04", factory numbers from 10MK5 1607 to 10MK5 1610, respectively) were delivered to Baranovichi on November 13 and 20, 2019. The contract for the supply of the next four aircraft was formalized in February 2021 with delivery plans for October 2022, but in fact the delivery of these four Su-30SM (red tail numbers from "05" to "08") was made without much publicity in 2024. The contract for the supply of four aircraft, already in a modified version of the Su-30SM2, was apparently concluded in early 2024, and was implemented in 2025. In 2025, presumably, a new contract was signed for the supply of Su-30SM2 fighters to Belarus, the implementation of which began at the end of 2025.
