On October 6, 2025, PJSC United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) announced that, as part of the fulfillment of the State Defense Order, it had manufactured and transferred to the Russian Ministry of Defense a batch of new Su-34 front-line bombers. The aircraft passed a set of necessary ground and flight factory tests and were handed over to the customer.

One of the Su-34 (Su-34NVO) front-line bombers transferred to the Russian Air Force in the fifth batch of the new construction in 2025 of the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov of PJSC United Aircraft Corporation. The side numbers in the photo are retouched. Novosibirsk, October 2025 (c) PJSC United Aircraft Corporation

"UAC enterprises are maintaining a high production rate of military equipment, fulfilling their obligations to the Russian Aerospace Forces. This is not the last delivery this year. Our employees at the factories are constantly improving production processes to ensure the necessary production volumes of aircraft for the tasks of the Russian Ministry of Defense," said Vadim Badekha, General Director of the UAC.

From the bmpd side, we would like to point out that, thus, the Russian Aerospace Forces received the fourth batch of Su-34 front-line bombers in 2025, built by the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov (NAZ) UAC. The UAC announced the transfer of the first batch of Su-34 aircraft to the troops in 2025 on April 19, the second batch of aircraft of this type on July 10, the third batch on August 12, and the fourth batch on September 15 .

Earlier in 2024, the Russian Air Force received six batches of Su-34 aircraft built by NAZ. As usual, the number of aircraft delivered has not been disclosed in the KLA reports since 2022, and their flight numbers are retouched on the official photos and videos distributed.

According to available data, by the beginning of 2025, the total number of Su-34 bombers built for the Russian Aerospace Forces amounted to 194 units, including seven experimental and pre-production aircraft, including 16 production aircraft delivered in 2024.
