PJSC United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) On June 25, 2025, it announced that it had handed over to the Russian Ministry of Defense the next new Su-35S aircraft manufactured under the State Defense Order. The new 4++ generation fighters underwent a full cycle of factory tests in various operating modes and flew to their home airfield.

"We are focused on maintaining the rhythm of work on the aviation complexes most in demand by our Armed Forces, which, of course, include the Su-35S aircraft. We also increase production efficiency. By 2030, we plan to increase labor productivity by 30%. This work gives us the opportunity with our existing resources to ensure large volumes of production under the state defense order, which is growing this year and will exceed the high figures of last year," said Vadim Badekha, Director General of the UAC.
On the part of bmpd, we would like to point out that, thus, the Russian Aerospace Forces have received the third batch of Su-35S fighters manufactured by the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Yuri Gagarin (KnAAZ) UAC in 2025. According to reports, this batch consists of three aircraft. The UAC [...] announced [...] the transfer of the first batch of Su-35S fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces in 2025 on March 29, 2025, and the second batch on May 12. As usual, the number of aircraft delivered has not been disclosed in the KLA reports since 2022, and the fighter aircraft tail numbers are retouched on the official photos and videos distributed.
Earlier in 2024, KnAAZ handed over four batches of Su-35S fighters with a total estimated number of 15 aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defense. Presumably, the Su-35S fighters that have now been transferred were manufactured under the additional (fifth) contract concluded by the KLA for the supply of Su-35S aircraft to the Russian Ministry of Defense. In total, taking into account previous contracts, the Russian Air Force received an estimated 135 production Su-35S fighters from 2012 to the end of 2024.
