News of new developments in the military-industrial complex

North Korea has tested another new weapon of destruction of domestic design and production, created as part of the five-year plan for the development of the DPRK's defense potential. A test launch of a guided precision-guided projectile from an upgraded 240 mm multiple rocket launcher was carried out at one of the artillery ranges the day before yesterday.

Tests have been conducted in Arizona that can change the tactics of aerial combat. Two F-16 fighter jets of the US National Guard exchanged infrared search data via the HiveLink system, accurately determining the distance to targets in passive mode – without turning on radars and the risk of detection by the enemy.

The European Organization for Joint Arms Cooperation (OCCAR) has signed a contract with Orizzonte Sistemi Navali (OSN) with a total value of about 3.7 billion euros. We are talking about the development, production and initial operational support of two new generation DDX destroyers for the Italian Navy. Nicholas Boraccino, a young French engineer, developed the compact underwater drone BentiX four years ago while still a student. Unfortunately, the Kickstarter campaign, where he then placed his invention, was not successful, which only spurred Nicholas to continue working.

Military scientists are actively introducing modern research methods into the practice of improving tank technical support.

Armored troops are undoubtedly a formidable force on the battlefield. However, it's not just armor, gun caliber, and engine power that are the leading ingredients of success.

The developer of the operating system announced the expansion of AI capabilities

It is no coincidence that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in a speech at the UN General Assembly in New York, called artificial intelligence (AI) "a possible new threat in the framework of the Ukrainian conflict."

""""The Ukrainian Design Bureau "Logic" has developed the complex "Chagarnik" ("Shrub"), an automated engineering barrier to counter FPV drones with fiber-optic cable. The system combines threat detection, identification, physical impact on the fiber-optic line and centralized management.

The future of the Challenger 3 program and the long-term prospects of the British tank fleet are in serious question. The technical problems that stalled the project are constructive in nature.

How the "Spider" will help to identify long-range UAVs in advance and determine their flight direction

Russia has developed an acoustic drone detection system. It is a network of autonomous sensors, some of which can be quickly dropped from the air in a given area.

A team of researchers from the Australian RMIT University has developed a material they call a "floating metal polymer metamaterial with an open-cell lattice structure."

The South Korean Ministry of Defense held its first exhibition of defense unmanned technologies at the Pocheon training ground, in the fields of which local manufacturers were supposed to demonstrate the "drone revolution" in action, in conditions as close to combat as possible.

The Japanese are going to connect the terrestrial Internet and satellites through flying stations at an altitude of 20 km

SoftBank, together with Hitotsubashi University and the National Institute of Polar Research of Japan, tested a laser tracking system for the HAPS high-altitude telecommunications platform located about 20 km above the Ground.

NASA chief Jared Isaacman said China could "block U.S. access" to the Mars training base, which Americans use to see the moon. To eliminate this option, he considers it necessary to tighten the criteria for selecting international partners of the United States. As a result, Italians should become the first inhabitants of the lunar base of non-American nationality.

The Turkish company Aselsan has integrated three new suspended containers for conducting electronic reconnaissance, electronic warfare and SAR mapping aboard the Bayraktar TB2 attack and reconnaissance drone from Baykar. On this occasion, Western observers note:

Russia presented a redesigned "Amur-1650" submarine project at a defense exhibition in South Africa. The new modification has received one of the most powerful weapons for non-nuclear submarines, which can now include up to 28 cruise missiles.

The curb weight of the ESOX X2 and the payload are 300 kg each (that is, the drone carries a weight equal to its own mass) With the stated potential, when upgrading the platform to 600 kg, the speed is up to 30 km/h, and the power reserve is more than 200 km on a single charge.

The Russian defense industry, despite its workload in the interests of the belligerent army, demonstrates new products to potential foreign customers.
