Eight years ago, the Sentinel, the local equivalent of the Russian Terminator tank support vehicle, was demonstrated in Ukraine. Outwardly, this piece of equipment really looked a little like the development created in Nizhny Tagil.
A combat module with two 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannons was installed on the body of the T-64BV tank.
The firepower is enhanced by a 7.62mm PKTM machine gun and an automatic 30 mm AG-17 grenade launcher. The anti-tank weapons on the shown copy were not the newest anti-tank missiles of the Konkurs complex.

At that time, many military experts were surprised that this module had no additional protection and, as reported, could only protect against small arms bullets and shell fragments and mines.
The commander's and gunner's operator's hatches, which were very vulnerable to frontal attacks, also caused confusion.

This sample was actively advertised for some time, but then it was dismantled - the old turret with a 125-mm cannon was returned to the sixty-fourth, and the module was already tested on infantry fighting vehicles, although without much success. Now no one remembers about the "Guardian" anymore. The Russian Terminator BMPT demonstrates high firepower and amazing survivability during a special military operation.
