The enemy, as well as our military, is increasingly turning their armored vehicles into some kind of "turtles" to increase anti-drone protection by installing grilles and chains along the entire length of the hull. Such protection is especially relevant for lightly armored vehicles operating at the forefront.
The network has published footage taken by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which you can see one of the many MT-LB inherited by Ukraine from the USSR, the entire body of which is artistically sheathed with anti-theft grilles and chains. As you can see, the "braziers" installed on the machine are removable structures secured with bolts.

The MT-LB multipurpose tractor, created more than fifty years ago by the design bureau of the Kharkov Tractor Plant, has not lost its relevance to this day. Over the decades of active operation, more than 80 modifications of the Motoliga have been created, including air defense systems, anti-tank complexes and anti-tank radars.
After the start of its military operations, the soldiers of the Russian army, which had at its disposal more than four thousand units of such equipment, began to massively modernize lightly armored vehicles, including installing naval anti-aircraft guns on them and turning MT-LB into improvised MLRS. In addition, there were cases when a motorized rifle loaded with explosives was sent to enemy positions, after which the charge was detonated.
