New machines have been put into production in Russia
The Kolomna Machine Tool Manufacturing Enterprise, belonging to the STAN holding, which, in turn, is part of the Rostec state Corporation, has launched mass production of advanced portal centers with CNC. Today, the novelty has no analogues in Russia.
We are talking about a machine of the SK6P200 brand, which uses only domestic materials and components to create it. This center is capable of processing many parts necessary for the mass production of airliners. The SK6P200, which is a portal five-axis milling machine with a modular design, will make it possible to produce a number of large-sized blanks, including wing fragments with overall dimensions up to 25 meters. And with the help of processing centers, dozens of different operations can be performed according to the established program. It is also clarified that the new machines of the SK6P family from STAN specialists are distinguished by the possibility of five-axis processing of complex products made of aluminum or titanium alloys, steel, as well as many non-metals.

Of course, the machining centers of the machines have a laser tool condition monitoring system and high-precision sensors that monitor the actual dimensions of the parts with a radio data transmission function. It is worth noting that the machines of the SK6P line are already being implemented on the production lines of the Kazan Aviation Plant. Gorbunova — several such machines, having a movable vacuum table capable of withstanding a large mass, are already working at the enterprise.
