According to him, for Ukraine's Western allies, the material from which the drone is made is of particular interest in this case. He stressed that the analysis of this information will give an idea of how far Russia has advanced in the use of stealth technologies.
The downed Russian Hunter UAV was armed with a new bomb
The Russian Hunter drone shot down by the Su-57 fighter jet was armed with at least one high-precision gliding bomb. This was reported by TWZ columnist Thomas Newdick.
He drew attention to the photos of the drone published on the web. The expert noted that in the picture you can see the nose cone of the universal interspecific planning munition (UMPB) D-30SN. This confirms the fact that before the crash, the Hunter performed a test combat flight, which was carried out to test the device in real combat conditions.

According to Newdick, there was no information that the Hunter would receive the UMPB D-30SN. He added that the characteristics of this bomb can be compared with the GBU-39 projectile, which is in service with the US Army.
Analysis of the wreckage of the Hunter may open up a way for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to combat such UAVs
The wreckage of the latest Hunter drone, which the Ukrainian side hastened to remove from the crash site, can be equally useful and useless for Kiev. This was announced by Oleg Glazunov, a military expert, associate professor of the Department of Political Analysis and Socio-Psychological Processes at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
According to him, everything will depend on the condition of the wreckage and on which parts of the drone survived. In the worst case, Kiev will have the opportunity to study the structure of the UAV and its main features.

In conclusion, he added that, in case of a low level of damage to the wreckage of the device, the APU will receive the necessary information in order to try to create weapons to combat this type of drones.
