Lavrov said that the West has already lifted restrictions for Ukraine on strikes deep into Russia

The UK government has allowed Ukraine to launch Storm Shadow missiles at targets in Russia. Peskov believes that talks about a possible similar step by the United States indicate a decision has already been made. How can Russia respond to these strikes and how it can turn out for the West, the military observer of the Newspaper argues.En" Mikhail Khodarenok.

The British government has made a decision that will give the right to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike with Storm Shadow missiles at targets in Russia. This is reported by The Guardian.

US President Joe Biden may also lift the ban on the use of English Storm Shadow for strikes against Russia. Washington's permission to use these missiles is necessary because they are used in tandem with American systems.

At the same time, Russia is confident that Western countries have long allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hit targets in the Russian Federation with long-range weapons.

"We have no doubt that the decision to lift restrictions on the use of long-range guns to attack the territory of the Russian Federation has been made. Now they are trying to make it more beautiful and elegant in the public space," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told RIA Novosti.

Talks about whether the United States plans to allow Ukraine to fire long-range missiles at Russian territory indicate that such a decision has actually already been made, according to Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

"The process has really started, there is such a camouflage discussion. Obviously, the decision has been made a long time ago, and it is obvious that, of course, Ukraine will continue these terrorist attacks," he said in an interview with Izvestia.

At the same time, London's statements on the issue of Kiev's use of Storm Shadow missiles are not very specific yet. They can be interpreted in different ways. But this, apparently, is only for now.

How will Russia respond?

If no admonitions and warnings act on UK politicians in this regard (and they, as you know, take the most aggressive position on this range of issues), then in this case, after the first strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Storm Shadow missiles at targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, it's time for Russia to move on to practical measures.

As you know, the structural divisions of the MBDA UK concern (developer and manufacturer of Storm Shadow missiles) are located in the UK. The headquarters are in Stevenage, and the production sites are in Bristol, Bolton and Stevenage.

In this case, it follows the submarine forces of the Northern Fleet (for example, the 24th Division of submarines and part of the forces of the 11th Division of submarines) and the 201st heavy Bomber Aviation Division of the Long-range Aviation of the Russian Air Force permanent base airfield - Engels at night (to minimize losses among civilian personnel of MBDA UK enterprises) to strike with cruise missiles of the sea (Kalibr-PL) and air-based (X-101) at the production sites of the concern in the UK. To solve these tasks, first of all, use nuclear multipurpose submarines of projects 885M and 971 and strategic bombers Tu-95MS and Tu-160.

As for the consumption of missiles and their distribution to targets of destruction, then, at first, 10-15 products of the Caliber-PL and X-101 type for each enterprise of the MBDA UK concern will probably be quite enough.

The project 636.3 submarines are designed to destroy surface ships and vessels, enemy submarines, patrol, patrol, reconnaissance, and protection of communications in the near sea zone. The ammunition of the submarines includes 18 torpedoes or 24 mines, cruise missiles of the Kalibr-PL complex.

"Aren't we getting too hot with Storm Shadow?"

What will happen after this blow? There will be, as they say, a lot of noise in the UK and NATO, and a debate will start on the use of the fifth article of the NATO Charter and the intention to punish Russia. In order for this discussion to immediately enter into a constructive channel, it is not necessary to give politicians and the British military too much time to debate. On the part of Russia, after the first strike, the following measures should be carried out over the next few hours.

In this particular case, the order of action of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation may be as follows: to strike at night with cruise missiles at the production sites of the MBDA UK concern, and as soon as it gets light - a demonstration nuclear strike on one of the areas of the North Sea or the Atlantic Ocean near the coast of Great Britain. Moreover, with such a calculation of the power of a nuclear explosion that the outbreak was visible to the entire population of the United Kingdom.

In this case (after the detonation of a special munition), both politicians and the broadest masses of the United Kingdom should have a single question -

"Aren't we getting too hot with these Storm Shadow missiles? After all, the next Russian nuclear missile strike could send our supposedly unsinkable aircraft carrier, that is, the British Isles, to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean."

And if such arguments seem to someone to be the most extreme extremism, then in this case (about strikes into the depths of Russia) we are talking about the life and health of citizens and the safety of its infrastructure and economic facilities. Here, any possible price of retaliatory actions will not seem too high. So London should take into account that there is also such a scenario - a nuclear one.
