Thanks to the photo of the "inaugural" flight of two F-16AM MLU fighters received by the Ukrainian Air Force with unpowered tail plates on the keel, it was possible to identify the origin of these aircraft. The Ukrainian Air Forces on their F-16 decided to completely copy the system of on-board numbering of US Air Force aircraft, putting on the lower part of the keel a standard (distributed, among other things, to American military aircraft built under license abroad) digital number of the US Air Force, the first two-digit part of which indicates the American fiscal year of the order of this board. In Ukraine, the number was also supplemented with the prefix "UA".

Two F-16AM fighters, filmed during a flight on August 4, 2024, during celebrations held with the participation of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in honor of the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Ukrainian Air Force, presumably held at Vasilkov airfield in the Kiev region, have registration numbers UA 80-3596 and UA 80-3599, corresponding to the registration numbers of the US Air Force 80-3596 and 80-3599, which belonged to the Danish Air Force F-16A fighters of European licensed construction. Thus, both aircraft shown were transferred to Ukraine by Denmark.
The UA 80-3596 fighter is an F-16A Block 15 aircraft with the US Air Force number 80-3596, built for Denmark under license by the Belgian aircraft manufacturer SABCA, serial number B-099, American serial number 6F-31, in May 1982 joined the Danish Air Force with the tail number E-596.
The UA 80-3599 fighter is an F-16A Block 15 aircraft with the US Air Force number 80-3599, built for Denmark under license by the Belgian aircraft manufacturer SABCA, serial number B-109, American serial number 6F-34, in August 1982 joined the Danish Air Force with the tail number E-599.
