About weapons
The Su-24 is a tactical front-line bomber with a variable sweep wing designed to launch missile and bomb attacks in any weather conditions, day and night, including at low altitudes with targeted damage to ground and surface targets.
The upgraded Su-30SM2 multi-purpose fighter, unlike its predecessor Su-30SM, has improved tactical and technical characteristics of an optoelectronic sighting and navigation system, a complex of electronic countermeasures, a radar control system to ensure an increase in the range of detection of air targets. In addition, the range of used air-to-air and air-to-surface guided aircraft weapons has been expanded for air, ground, including radar and naval targets with an increase in their range of use.
The OFAB-250-270 high-explosive air bomb is effective in hitting military-industrial facilities, lightly armored and easily invulnerable equipment, and manpower. It is designed to destroy aircraft in open parking lots, artillery pieces in open and closed positions, vehicles (railway rolling stock, motor vehicles, sea and river transport vessels), fuel depots, pontoon crossings and enemy manpower.
