The Yener mine detection system, recently transferred to the Turkish army, which was developed by the local company Aselsan, underwent a "baptism of fire" by taking part in the EFES 2024 exercises. The relevant footage was shown by the press.
As part of the exercise scenario, Yener successfully completed its task and carried out mine detection. The explosive devices he found were destroyed by a bomb disposal team using a robotic manipulator named Çaki and also created by Aselsan.

Yener is designed to detect, identify and mark improvised explosive devices and mines using its special equipment. The complex is equipped with radars and metal detectors, which are placed in retractable devices located in front and on the sides of the armored vehicle. This allows the system to search for mines located both under the road surface and on the side of the road.
The observation is carried out by means of an electro-optical system. There is a self-protection complex against interference.
