Photos and videos of the Voyevoda project 23700 (factory number C-370), built at the Baltic Shipbuilding Plant Yantar JSC (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation JSC) in Kaliningrad, which is under factory sea trials, have been published. The first launch of the Voyevoda vessel for testing took place on December 13, 2023.

The contract for the construction of this vessel was signed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in December 2016, the laying was carried out at the Yantar shipyard on April 21, 2017. According to the terms of the contract, the vessel was supposed to be handed over to the customer in November 2019, but this deadline was repeatedly postponed. The Voevoda was launched in Kaliningrad only on November 8, 2019, and then completion was carried out for another four years. The Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot) will become the operator of the vessel.
The 23700 project was developed by JSC Severnoye PKB. Officially, the vessel of the 23700 project is designed to provide emergency rescue operations, as well as transportation and supply of small search and rescue watercraft. In reality, the ship is a yacht for the "first person". The vessel is capable of carrying four boats on board and taking two helicopters on board. The vessel has a displacement of 7,500 tons, a length of 111 m, a width of 24 m, a speed of 22 knots, and a cruising range of 5,000 miles. According to the published documentation of the Yantar shipyard, the ship of the project 23700 is equipped with high-comfort rooms, which include eight residential blocks with a bedroom, bathroom and office, a conference room, a passenger cabin with a buffet, and passageways.
