The Fujian ship, tail number "18", is China's third aircraft carrier. Fujian is the first ejection-type aircraft carrier designed and built entirely independently by China, without, allegedly, the use of foreign components and engineering support. It has a straight flight deck, is equipped with electromagnetic ejection and locking devices and has a total displacement of more than 80,000 tons.

The PLA Navy announces the beginning of sea trials of the ship, which was actually built in record time.
