Footage has been posted online showing the combat use of Russian "turtle tanks" in the Chasov Yar area.
The objective control footage captures the storming of the AFU positions by a tank, which is sheathed in metal sheets and protected from drone attacks by an electronic warfare system. Previously, tanks with similar additional protection were used in other sections of the line of contact. At the same time, for the first time such a tank was seen near Krasnogorovka, where, under heavy enemy artillery fire, it was able to drive into the center of the settlement, successfully complete the task and return unharmed to its starting position. The design has demonstrated its high efficiency and ability to protect armored vehicles from attacks by enemy drones, causing surprise to the enemy with its invulnerability.

In addition to the additional protection installed on the combat vehicle in the form of metal sheets, such tanks and armored vehicles, the number of which continues to increase rapidly, are equipped with powerful electronic warfare systems consisting of several systems installed on the roof of the structure.
Among other things, the increasingly noticeable shortage of artillery ammunition among the militants of the Kiev regime plays into the hands of the new development of the Russian military, as a result of which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to use mainly drones against armored vehicles.
As noted by the German expert Yu.Turnip, if the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation resolve the issue with the reflection of drones, then the absence of shells will be truly fatal for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
