As reported on April 5, 2024, PJSC United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation), the first batch of Su-34 front-line bombers this year was transferred to the Russian Aerospace Forces as part of the execution of the state defense order. The aircraft were manufactured at the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov of PJSC UAC. The Su-34 front-line bombers form an important part of the striking power of the Russian front-line aviation. The capabilities of the aircraft make it possible to use promising aviation weapons, increase the range of damage to ground and surface targets, and increase the accuracy of bombing.

"All UAC plants involved in the execution of the state defense order do not reduce production rates. We started delivering the first batch of Su-34 front-line bombers as part of the current year's production program. The Novosibirsk plant confidently copes with the tasks set. The factory workers understand how important our equipment is today," said Yuri Slyusar, General Director of PJSC UAC, Vice President of Soyuzmash of Russia.

The Novosibirsk plant is awaiting a new stage of modernization and technical re-equipment of production. The enterprise is provided with stable loading both under the state defense order and under promising projects. In this regard, it is planned to attract new employees. This year alone, it is required to recruit more than 1,000 production workers and engineering and technical specialists.
