Deep Trekker Photon
The Canadian company Deep Trekker has introduced a compact drone for underwater filming and object monitoring — Photon. Its dimensions are 48 x 33 x 22 cm, the device is supplied complete with a 150-meter communication cable for communication with the operator. The on-board battery provides operation for two hours.
Photon is made of anodized aluminum, stainless steel, carbon fiber and foam for buoyancy. The weight of the drone is 11.6 kg, it can dive to a depth of 120 m. Photon moves in any direction using six vector engines with a maximum speed of up to 4.6 km/h.

The underwater drone is equipped with a built-in 4K camera with remote tilt capability, synchronized with LED spotlights. The underwater drone software reduces image distortion, improves clarity and performs color correction. The remote operator sees the picture online on the 7-inch remote control screen. The basic Photon kit can be ordered on the Deep Trekker website for $12,000.
