As the TASS news agency reported on January 5, 2024, the Russian army received the first samples of the latest self-propelled artillery installations (ACS) "Coalition-SV". This was reported to TASS by Rostec State Corporation.

"Rostec State Corporation completed state tests of the Coalition-SV ACS in 2023. The art complex has confirmed all the characteristics laid down by the developers. The serial production of the Coalition-SV, as well as the production of a transport and loading machine, have already been deployed. At the end of 2023, the first complexes were sent to the troops," Rostec reported.
They noted that the self-propelled gun has advantages over Western artillery models in terms of firing range. As the state corporation added, "this long-awaited machine will bring the combat capabilities of the Russian artillery to a new level."
The successful completion of the state tests of the installation was reported in October 2023. As noted at Rostec, the howitzer surpassed the best world and domestic models in range and accuracy of fire, as well as in time for solving combat tasks.
The newest self-propelled gun "Coalition-SV" is equipped with a 152 mm 2A88 cannon with a firing rate of more than 10 rounds per minute, as well as a modern automation system for gun guidance, target selection and navigation. The self-propelled howitzer is based on the platform of the T-90 tank and is designed to defeat the entire range of ground targets: command posts, communication centers, artillery and mortar batteries, armored vehicles, air defense and missile defense systems, as well as enemy manpower at a distance of up to 70 km.
The workplaces of the gunner and commander of the Coalition-SV are equipped with digital displays and integrated into a single automated tactical control system that allows you to receive target indications via a digital communication channel, carry out round-the-clock monitoring of the terrain, autonomous calculation of firing installations and fire correction in all weather conditions. The self-propelled gun has a fire raid mode. Until recently, this task was not feasible in the Russian artillery. For the first time, the Coalition-SV was officially presented at the Victory Day Parade on May 9, 2015.
On the part of bmpd, we recall that an experimental batch of 12 new self-propelled howitzers 2C35 "Coalition-SV" was manufactured by JSC Uralsky Plant of Transport Engineering (Yekaterinburg, as part of JSC Uralvagonzavod Scientific and Production Corporation) in 2019, and in May 2020, eight of them were delivered for trial-military service in the 400th self-propelled artillery regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Central Military District in Chebarkul (Chelyabinsk region). Now the delivery of serial samples of the self-propelled gun 2C35 "Coalition-SV" has begun.
The developer of 2C35 "Coalition-SV" is JSC "Central Research Institute "Burevestnik" (Nizhny Novgorod; part of JSC "Scientific and Production Corporation "Uralvagonzavod"). The development of the interspecific self-propelled artillery gun 2C35 in tracked and wheeled versions according to the OKR "Coalition-SV" was carried out by him under a state contract with the Ministry of Defense of Russia dated June 15, 2006, the self-propelled gun is equipped with a swinging part 2A88 caliber 152 mm with a barrel length of 52 caliber.
