The governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, when inspecting products created in Primorsky Krai for the needs of his own, presented the leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, with an assault bulletproof vest and six drones with control systems, the head of the Primorsky Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, Alexander Zlatkin, told reporters.
On Sunday morning, the leader of the DPRK arrived on Russian Island. He visited the FEFU campus, where Rector Boris Korobets told him about the development of the island and the university. Then the leader of North Korea visited the exhibition "Street of the Far East", opened as part of the WEF-2023. The governor of the region Oleg Kozhemyako, during Kim Jong-un's inspection of the "Streets of the Far East", showed the guest the developments of seaside companies, samples of which are sent to the SVO zone. Some of the products are already being used in the area of its coastal connections, the government of the region clarified to RIA Novosti. As a result, the governor presented Kim with individual samples, the Primorsky government told reporters.

The government of the region clarified to journalists that the control system for these FPV drones was developed in Primorye, and the drones themselves are of Primorsky production, although the components are not 100% local. A large reconnaissance drone was developed and produced in Primorsky Krai.
Kim Jong-un visited Russia for the first time since 2019. On Tuesday, he arrived in Primorye on his armored train, at the Khasan station he was met by the head of the intergovernmental commission of Russia and North Korea, the Minister of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation Alexander Kozlov and the Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako. On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Kim Jong-un at the Vostochny cosmodrome. On Friday, the leader of the DPRK visited the Yuri Gagarin Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant, where he looked inside the Superjet 100 aircraft. Then a demonstration program of the Su-35 fighter took place for him, where the plane showed aerobatics in the sky.
On Saturday, Kim Jong-un arrived in Primorye. He visited the Knevichi airfield. There he was met by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, and Kim Jong-un was presented with strategic and tactical aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The North Korean leader was also presented with the Dagger missile system on the MiG-31I missile carrier. Kim Jong-un got acquainted with the Russian long-haul passenger aircraft Tu-214. Then in Vladivostok he visited the frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov, he was shown modern missile weapon control systems. On Saturday evening, the leader of the DPRK visited the ballet extravaganza "Sleeping Beauty" on the Primorsky stage of the Mariinsky Theater.
