The Western press drew attention to the tests of the active protection complex "Afganit" installed on the T-14 tank, concluding that the ongoing improvement of the latest Russian OBT.
As indicated in the Altair publication, the testing was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of radar and optoelectronic sensors that are part of the KAZ and are responsible for detecting threats, as well as counterattacking ammunition designed to actually hit projectiles flying towards the tank.
