JSC "Concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz - Antey" takes part in the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2023", which takes place in Kubinka near Moscow on the basis of the Patriot Convention and Exhibition Center. The Concern acts as the general partner of the forum and presents full-scale samples, models, models of weapons and military equipment, as well as civilian products, the press service of the Concern reports.

24 enterprises of the holding are presenting their products at the Army-2023 forum. The exposition of the Concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz - Antey" is located in three locations:
- on the open area in front of the exhibition pavilion "B" (full-scale samples of military equipment);
- in the demonstration center of the holding in the sector of enterprises of the defense industrial complex of Russia (full-scale samples and models of military and civilian equipment);
- in the exhibition pavilion "C" (full-scale samples and models of civilian products).
In front of Pavilion "B", the Concern demonstrates full-scale samples of long- and medium-range air defense systems. The Antey-4000 long-range anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) is represented by the 9A83M-2E launcher and the 9A84M-1E launcher. The Antey-4000 air defense system is designed to defeat modern and promising tactical and strategic aircraft, radar patrol and guidance, reconnaissance and strike complexes and barrage jamming systems, operational-tactical, tactical, aeroballistic, cruise missiles, as well as medium-range ballistic missiles. This air defense system allows you to provide reliable air defense of administrative, industrial and military facilities, groups of troops.

The Viking anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) can be seen as part of the 9A317ME self-propelled firing system, the 9S38E modular target detection station, the 9A316ME launcher and the combat control point simulator (PBU). Viking is capable of solving the tasks of destroying modern and promising tactical and strategic aircraft, including those made using Stealth technology, tactical ballistic and cruise missiles, helicopters, reconnaissance and strike complexes and UAVs, radio-contrast ground and surface targets. At the same time, it can effectively perform tasks in conditions of severe electronic and fire resistance.

Here you can also get acquainted with the 51P6E2 launcher of the promising non-strategic missile defense (NPRO) "Abakan". In terms of the number of combat elements, the Abakan is the most compact means of NPRO, and all the processes of its combat work are automated. The complex has no analogues and is designed to defeat modern and promising tactical, operational-tactical, non-strategic ballistic missiles. Thanks to the optimal technical solutions, Abakan is able to significantly strengthen the air defense grouping with the function of non-strategic missile defense or work autonomously.

For the first time at the forum, the Concern of East Kazakhstan Region Almaz - Antey presents a full-scale sample of a training complex (UTK) designed for training and preparation of combat crews of the S-350E Vityaz medium-range air defense systems. The UTK is a container on a transportable trailer, in which the combat crew workplaces are located, completely identical to the regular workplaces in the PBU, as well as the place of the instructor-instructor. Information model of workplaces, simulation of air and interference conditions, simulation of the operation of air defense systems, attached and interacting with the air defense systems, all algorithms of combat calculation actions fully correspond to the capabilities of real military equipment. The UTK also has the possibility of interactive learning. The use of the complex as a training tool allows you to significantly save the resource of fixed assets of the air defense system, improve the theoretical and practical preparation of calculations for solving combat tasks.
The S-350E Vityaz air defense system is designed for object defense (with a range of up to 120 km) and is capable of simultaneously repelling attacks of various types of air attack weapons, including promising ones, from any direction in the entire range of their flight heights. The S-350E air defense system includes a PBU, up to two multifunctional radars, up to 8 launchers or launchers, each of which houses up to 12 9M96E2 anti-aircraft guided missiles. The combat work of the S-350E "Vityaz" is controlled by a crew of three people. The advantage of this air defense system over other air defense systems is the absence of the need to find combat crews in radars during combat work. The increased survivability of the system is ensured by the separation of the means included in the S-350E air defense system on the ground for a sufficiently long distance, as well as maneuvering and rapid movement to new positions. Vityaz has the ability to work both autonomously and under the control of higher command posts, while interacting with the information and combat means of other systems.

On the site of the Concern's demonstration center, you can see full-scale samples of the mobile reconnaissance point PRP-5 (designed for reconnaissance of enemy objects and maintenance of ground artillery firing in various weather conditions), the radar station (radar) of ground reconnaissance "Farah-VR", radar "Aistenok" and 1L277. There is also a combat vehicle of the Tor-E2 air defense system, an autonomous simulator of the commander and operator 9F678E for training calculations of the Tor-E2 air defense system, a universal target training complex "Adjutant".

In the pavilion of the holding's demonstration center, you can get acquainted with almost the entire range of the Concern's main products in the form of mockups and models, including automated control systems, long-, medium- and short-range air defense systems (including for the Navy), airspace control and ground reconnaissance radars, geolocation and radiometeorology equipment, repair tools and options modernization of its products, training facilities, etc.

Also on the forum site, the Concern's civilian products are presented: a promising overall cargo chassis BAZ-S36A11 with a 6x6 wheel formula (serial models of such cars are designed for use on public roads of all categories and off-road); electric loader EP2020-08-2.8; electric trolley ET2064; electric pallet transporter TP 2000; reach truck RT1700 with with a 5.5m forklift truck; ESH1600 electric stacker.

The Concern's exposition in Pavilion "C", dedicated to civil products, will acquaint guests and participants of the exhibition with the holding's developments designed for the protection of critical facilities, air traffic and air navigation, equipment for industrial climate systems, additive and modern foundries, control and measuring equipment and printed circuit boards. In particular, in Pavilion "C" you can see full-scale samples of dispatchers' consoles for planning and using airspace, as well as air traffic control, an unmanned aerial vehicle "Dobrynya", an additive installation "Casket", a radar for the protection of objects "Owl", etc.
On the eve of the forum, the General Director of JSC "Concern of East Kazakhstan Region "Almaz - Antey" Jan Novikov noted that in the modern world, as practice shows, air defense and missile defense systems are becoming increasingly important. "Russia occupies a leading position in the world in the development and production of highly effective means of combating various types of air targets, and at the Army forum we traditionally provide an opportunity for the general public to get acquainted with the achievements of the Concern in this area," he said.
The head of the holding stated that in today's difficult conditions, the Concern is implementing all the tasks set by the country's leadership, both in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and in the field of civil industry. Almaz - Antey fulfills all obligations to foreign customers accurately and strictly within the established deadlines, strengthens the image of Russian defense industry products on the international market. This also applies to after-sales service of equipment, its repair and modernization, as well as training of foreign specialists," the CEO of the Concern stressed.
