This was announced on July 31 by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, at a conference call with the leadership of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Shoigu noted that almost 1.5 thousand enterprises will present about 28 thousand samples of military and dual-use products at the forum. In particular, domestic military-technical developments that have been tested in a real combat situation will be widely presented.
The head of the military department clarified that the heads of 108 defense departments were invited to the MWTF-2023.

On the eve of the Army-2023 MVTF, Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of Rostec, told RIA Novosti in an interview about what the state corporation will present at the forum.
– For us, this is one of the most important platforms for interaction with partners and customers. The plan of business events is rich, a number of signings and meetings are planned. And, of course, almost the entire range of weapons and equipment of our production will be presented – only about one thousand samples. These are aviation, armored vehicles, small arms and equipment, artillery and air defense and electronic warfare, communications equipment and systems, the widest range of ammunition.
I would like to note that almost all of these products are involved in the SVO zone today. You will be able to see with your own eyes the weapons and combat vehicles that are now fighting on the front line. Many samples have been significantly modified based on the results of combat use, taking into account the recommendations of military personnel. So, viewers will be able to see Su-57, Su-35S, MiG-35 and Su-30SM fighters. Mi-28NE, Ka-52M and Ka-52E combat helicopters. Heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A "Solntsepek" and TOS-2 "Tosochka". Undoubtedly, the engineering system of remote mining "Agriculture" will be of particular interest. According to the press service of Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation), the Russian special exporter is organizing an exhibition of battle-tested weapons at the Army-2023 forum.
The Forum will be attended by 49 delegations at the invitation of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, 20 delegations at the invitation of Rosoboronexport, 29 of which will be headed by defense ministers and chiefs of General Staffs. They will hold presentations of Russian samples of military, dual-use and civilian products presented at the forum sites, as well as talk about possible options for cooperation.
"The samples of Russian weapons exhibited at the sites of the Army forum have a successful experience of application on the battlefield. The forum participants are expected to show increased interest in the samples that have received combat experience: the Kub-E complex with barrage ammunition, the PTKM-1R anti-wing anti-tank mine. Elements of the artillery unit's reconnaissance and control system based on the Tablet-A complex and the 1B75E sound-thermal complex will also be shown.
The Rosoboronexport exposition will be placed in an open area and in a presentation pavilion. At the same time, samples of weapons and military equipment are presented as elements of a single system. Thus, zones of artillery complexes and reconnaissance means, means of combating unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as a zone of armored combat vehicles have been allocated in the open area.
In the first zone there are reconnaissance complexes with the Orlan-10 and Orlan-30 UAVs, means of fire destruction – the 155 mm self-propelled howitzer Msta-S and 120 mm self-propelled artillery gun 2C31 Vienna, artillery ammunition.
Reconnaissance, electronic warfare and air defense systems are presented as part of a layered anti-UAV system that ensures the defeat of drones of various classes. So, the Viking air defense system, the Tor-type air defense system, the Pantsir-type air defense system and the Willow, Igla-S MANPADS are physically destroyed by UAVs. Navigation and control systems of UAVS suppress electronic warfare, including the RB-504P-E, Argument-2 and Argument-3 complexes presented at Army-2023.
Unified radio interference modules "Field-21E" and an automated interference station for subscribers of satellite communications and satellite radio navigation system R-330ZH will be shown in the segment of electronic warfare with precision ammunition at Army-2023.
In the armored vehicles zone, armored combat vehicles are presented as part of one line: front-line combat vehicles, armored vehicles for fire support and transportation of units. Among the samples on display will be the T-14 Armata tank, the K-17 Boomerang wheeled BMP, armored personnel carriers and multipurpose vehicles of the Tiger and Spartak families.
Also at the "Army", manufacturers will show novelties of the Russian defense industry: the Z-STS Akhmat armored car, Su-57 and Su-35 fighters with the latest guided weapons, artillery ammunition and the Raptor sniper complex.
The exposition of the Rosoboronexport presentation pavilion is also divided into thematic zones: systems successfully tested in combat conditions, rifle complexes, melee weapons and military equipment, communications and security equipment. In total, more than 200 samples are presented in the pavilion. This part of the exposition is linked to the samples and systems presented at the open site of Rosoboronexport.
Complexes with unmanned aerial vehicles for various purposes will be located in the static parking lots of Patriot Park and Kubinka airfield, of which I would like to highlight the Orion reconnaissance and strike UAV with aviation weapons.
The Ka-52M and Ka-52E combat reconnaissance and attack helicopters will be presented at the same static sites. Combat vehicles will be shown with new guided weapons, including the light multipurpose guided missile "Product 305".
In the multifunctional firing center of the Patriot Park, demonstration firing from combat, special and civilian weapons will be organized, presented by the NGO "High-Precision Complexes", JSC "Kalashnikov Concern", as well as by ORSIS, which are part of the Rostec State Corporation. Here it will be possible to practically evaluate the characteristics of such samples as Kalashnikov 200-series assault rifles, AK-12, AK-15, AK-19, two-medium special ADS assault rifle, SHAK-12 assault assault rifle, VKS sniper rifles, Bespoke Gun Raptor, T-5000, upgraded 6V10 rifle, PLC pistol, PPK-20 submachine gun, AGS-30 grenade launcher system and others.
The traditional and most spectacular part of the Army-2023 forum will be dynamic displays-presentations of weapons, military and special equipment.
