On June 2, in Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region, the launching of the crab vessel "Vladimir" took place.
The DAMEN CCa5712LS project vessel, factory number 01202, was built under the federal investment program "Quotas for Keel" by order of Merlion LLC (Vladivostok) at the Nobel Brothers Shipyard.
The crabber is designed for use in unlimited swimming areas. The most modern equipment is installed on board, which allows storing and transporting up to 120 tons of live crab over long distances from fishing areas to ports of reception of products.
The Krabolov project was developed by Damen Engineering from St. Petersburg.
Dmitry Bystrov, General Director of the Nobel Brothers Shipyard, Alexander Parakhin, General Director of Merlion LLC, representatives of the Kalashnikov Concern, authorities and shipbuilding participated in the solemn ceremony of launching the vessel.
"I sincerely thank all the factory workers who created the crab vessel for your dedication and dedication shown in fulfilling this order. In fact, you have breathed life into a new vessel, paved its way to the World Ocean. With your hard work, you have repeatedly proved that you can handle the most difficult tasks. I'm proud of you! I am sure that together we will continue to update the fishing fleet of Russia with dignity," Dmitry Bystrov, General Director of the Nobel Brothers Shipyard, stressed at the ceremony.
The head of the enterprise also thanked the customer for the trust shown to the shipyard and assured the management of the Kalashnikov concern that by increasing production capacity and expanding competencies, the Nobel Brothers Shipyard is able to qualitatively implement any high-tech project in the field of shipbuilding, and in the interests of various structures and departments.
The rite of consecration of the crab ship was served. The "godmother" of the ship, Leila Gareeva, according to established tradition, broke a bottle of champagne on board the Vladimir.
Recall that this is the second crab of the DAMEN CCa 5712LS project that has descended from the stocks of the Nobel Brothers Shipyard in recent times. In October last year, the company launched a crab boat "Sergey Prikhodko" of a similar project and also built under the federal investment program "Quotas for keel", but by order of the company "Aqua–Invest", part of the Pacific Investment Group. Now the stage of the formation of premises has been completed on the Sergei Prikhodko, then the installation of navigation and other equipment will take place, after which the vessel will go on sea trials.
