Gazprom-Neft unmanned KAMAZ trucks Gazprom-Neft representatives announced the launch of a cargo transportation project using KAMAZ unmanned trucks — they started working on a 140 km long winter road linking the village of Tazovsky and the Vostochno-Messoyakhskoye field, providing supplies to the latter.
Transportation is provided by satellite navigation, and the trucks themselves have a number of sensors and sensors that provide the construction of a road map in digital format, scanning objects along the front, recognizing obstacles, as well as fixing objects — both static and moving.
Gazprom-Neft unmanned KAMAZ trucks The management of KAMAZ drones is carried out with the help of Russian-developed software with elements of artificial intelligence and, according to Gazprom-Neft specialists, in the future, unmanned transport will significantly increase logistical efficiency in supplying equipment and necessary materials to deposits in the northern regions of the country.
In addition to expanding the program for such cargo transportation with autonomous management of its own facilities, Gazprom-Neft plans to provide similar services to other domestic industrial companies this year. [...]
