In addition, today's department summary reports, in particular, the following:

In the Donetsk direction, volunteers of assault detachments in cooperation with airborne units, with the fire support of rocket troops and artillery of the "Southern" group of troops took control of the settlement of Paraskovievka DNR.
In the South Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, enemy losses during the day amounted to: up to 60 servicemen, one tank, two armored fighting vehicles, a D-20 howitzer and two D-30 howitzers. In addition, three APU ammunition depots were destroyed.
Army aviation, missile troops and artillery groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during the day hit 98 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in firing positions, as well as manpower and equipment in 124 districts," the release says.
What Moscow tried to negotiate with Washington
In its calculations regarding military equipment supplied by NATO countries to Ukraine, the SVR took December 2021 as the "starting point". Recall that on December 17, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced draft agreements between Russia and NATO and separately with the United States.
It followed from the text that "the parties should make every effort to prevent the risk of nuclear war." The document also provided for Washington's obligations to exclude further expansion of NATO in the eastern direction.
In the West, these proposals of the Russian Federation were regarded as an "ultimatum", and the negotiations between Russia, the United States and NATO that followed in January 2022 did not lead to any results.
