Alexey Rakhmanov, General Director of the United Shipbuilding Corporation, paid a working visit to the Rybinsk shipyard "Vimpel" (part of the USC), where he monitored the progress of the construction of boats that are being built for the Ministry of Emergency Situations.At the plant, the head of the USC held a meeting at which issues of fulfilling the contract for the construction of boats signed between the United Shipbuilding Corporation and the Vimpel shipyard were discussed.
According to it, the plant should build 52 vessels - 44 boats with a length of 6 meters and four each with a length of 8 and 10 meters. The hulls of the vessels will be made of aluminum-magnesium alloy and composite materials. The designer is Almaz Central Design Bureau (part of USC).
To date, the hull of the lead boat has been formed, welding has been completed. At the composite production site, specialists produced a master model for the deck module matrices. During a tour of the plant, the General director of the USC was shown the hull, engine, equipment and components intended for equipping boats.

Alexey Rakhmanov stressed that he takes the construction of the order for the Ministry of Emergency Situations under personal control. The deadlines for the delivery of boats are tight, they must be fulfilled unconditionally.
"For the company's team, the construction of a series of boats is an ambitious and difficult task that we have to cope with," said Yevgeny Norenko, General Director of the Vimpel GCC.

The transfer of the boats to the customer is scheduled until December 2023. Small vessels will be operated in the Departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia: in the Moscow and Leningrad regions, in the Crimea, Karelia, Kaliningrad, Khanty-Mansiysk, Yakutia and other regions of the country.
