Rosoboronexport will present new Russian equipment and weapons for which export permits have been issued at international defense exhibitions, during meetings and negotiations with partners, as well as on actively developing digital platforms. The company has agreements with most manufacturing enterprises on joint promotion of products to the foreign market.
The complex with the Orlan-30 unmanned aerial vehicle developed and manufactured by the Special Technology Center is a further development of the well-known Orlan-10 UAV on the world market, which has confirmed its characteristics in real combat conditions.
Orlan-30 is designed for aerial reconnaissance, search, detection and recognition of objects in the visible or infrared range. In addition, with the help of the installed target equipment, it provides target designation to high-precision means of destruction for the destruction of stationary and moving objects both during the day and at night.
The Ballista remote-controlled combat module is designed for installation on armored personnel carriers. It is equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon and a 7.62 mm machine gun paired with it, as well as two anti-tank guided missiles. The module is equipped with a combined sight with a television camera, a thermal imager and a laser rangefinder capable of detecting and recognizing targets at any time of the day. In addition, a double sight is installed on the "Ballista", which significantly increases its combat capabilities.
In addition, the promotion of the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle with a new remotely controlled combat module developed at the enterprise of the High-Precision Complexes holding has begun. The equipment was first presented as part of the Rostec State Corporation exposition at the Army-2022 International Military-Technical Forum.
The vehicle is equipped with a 100-mm cannon launcher, a 30-mm automatic cannon and a 7.62-mm machine gun. Thanks to its powerful armament, the infantry fighting vehicle is capable of providing infantry fire support, including afloat, effectively hitting manpower, lightly armored targets such as infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, tanks and other targets with enhanced protection, as well as low-speed air targets, including helicopters.
In 2022, Rosoboronexport's export catalog was replenished with new means of countering unmanned aerial vehicles. Among others – the "RB-504P-E product", which provides highly effective detection, identification and bearing of UAVs, as well as electronic suppression of their navigation and control channels.
Rosoboronexport has started promoting to the foreign market modern technical training equipment developed in the Rostec State Corporation circuit for the crews of the IL-78MK-90A tanker aircraft and the Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft. "In 2022, thanks to the comprehensive support of the President and the Government of the country, as well as the active work of Rosoboronexport within the framework of the activities of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia to improve legislation, a number of changes were made to the regulatory framework in the field of military-technical cooperation, which simplified licensing procedures for the introduction of new products to the world market. Legislative initiatives that optimize work processes, including when processing export documentation, were considered during meetings of the Committee for the Development of Foreign Trade Activities in relation to SOYUZMASH military products," added Alexander Mikheev, who holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia.
