"As part of the tasks in the Baltic Sea, the ship's trawling group of the Baltic Fleet, consisting of the base minesweeper Pavel Henov and the raid minesweeper RT-57, successfully defused mines set by the enemy," the press service said.
It is noted that in accordance with the plan of the exercise in the landfills located in the Baltic Sea, the minesweepers of the ships of the protection of the water area of the Leningrad Naval base worked out actions to ensure the deployment of the naval forces of the Baltic Fleet from the base point and on the passage by sea in the conditions of the use of mine weapons by a conditional enemy.
"During the joint search and minesweeping in a given square, the crews of the Pavel Henov base minesweeper and the RT-57 raid minesweeper successfully detected and destroyed bottom and anchor training mines placed by the conditional enemy.
