The production of weapons unloading for the mobilized was organized in the Astrakhan region, the governor of the region Igor Babushkin said.
Weapon unloading is a part of army equipment designed to place weapons, ammunition, various equipment and small items on the body with weight distribution to different muscles.
"There is a lot of information on the Internet today about the staffing of mobilized residents of the Astrakhan region. Yes, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation provides soldiers with the necessary equipment, but there are things that today are not included in the standard equipment through the Ministry of Defense. Therefore, the government of the region, socially responsible business, ordinary Astrakhan citizens are actively helping our army today," Babushkin wrote in Telegram.
So, during the governor's trip to Borzoi, the fighters asked him about special weapons unloading, which are not included in the set of equipment provided by the Ministry of Defense. "This is a scarce position, which is not available in warehouses, in professional and hunting stores both in Astrakhan and in other regions. We buy up piece by piece, organized our own production. We will send the first batch to the unit in the near future," Babushkin said.

According to him, since September 30, the Constellation of Good charity Foundation has purchased 1,500 sleeping bags, 600 rugs, and material for 1,000 duffel bags. Production of another 1,500 sleeping bags has been launched. In addition, the region regularly buys and sends thermal underwear, food, shovels, saws, insulated rubber boots, electric generators to the locations of parts.
The authorities of many subjects have previously announced regional payments to the mobilized in addition to the federal one: according to the presidential decree, the monthly allowance of the mobilized should be at least 195 thousand rubles.
