TSAMTO, September 30. All available samples, which are in service with the SV, have been tested in combat conditions during the military operation in Syria and are now being successfully used in the SVO in Ukraine, confirming the high TTX inherent in them.
This was announced in an interview with the newspaper "Krasnaya Zvezda" by the commander-in-chief of the Ground Forces, Army General Oleg Salyukov.

"There is no doubt that the Iskander-M missile system is the best complex in its class in the world and is capable of using both ballistic missiles and cruise missiles from a single launcher, leaving the enemy no chance within a radius of 500 km. At the same time, he is extremely mobile and secretive. And the modernization potential embedded in the complex and implemented by us today will allow it to surpass foreign models of missile weapons for many years to come and remain the main model in the missile formations of the Ground Forces.
As for the means of military air defense, during the special military operation, almost the entire main range of samples of military air defense weapons is involved.
The most effective were the modern S-300V4, Buk-M2 (M3) and Tor-M2 (M2U) anti-aircraft missile systems.
The results of the use of military air defense means confirm that the greatest burden on covering troops during the operation lies on medium- and short-range air defense systems.
The S-300V (B4), Buk-MZ (M2) and Tor-M2 (M2U, M2DT) sams proved to be effective in combating the enemy's UAVs and MLRS.
Igla and Willow MANPADS, which account for a third of the destroyed manned aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, have proven themselves well in defeating suddenly appearing air targets at low and extremely low altitudes at the forefront.
The analysis of the air defense command and control system of the groups of troops created on the basis of the automated weapons control tools "Polyana-D4M1" and "Barnaul-T" from the ESU TK confirmed its effectiveness and the ability to control the forces and means of air defense in real time.
Thus, during a special military operation, the high efficiency of the echeloned air defense system is confirmed, and the integration of various air defense means in it allows hitting all means of enemy air attack, including small-sized UAVs and MLRS rockets.
In modern conditions, the successful implementation of tasks is facilitated by the use of complexes with UAVs. The tactical link of the Ground Forces operates small and light reconnaissance complexes with short-range and short-range UAVs, as well as short and medium flight duration.
During the special military operation, the complexes with the Orlan-10, Orlan-30 and Aileron-3 UAVs proved themselves on the positive side.
Samples of armored weapons showed high efficiency during a special military operation.
So, for the first time in combat conditions, T-90M "Breakthrough-3" tanks are used, in which there is a panoramic commander's sight, which allows the commander to assess the situation on the battlefield at the same level with the gunner-operator. At the same time, this sight is combined with a remote machine gun installation, which makes it possible for the commander to fire from his workplace at enemy manpower both from the spot and in motion, regardless of the work of the gunner-operator.
Also, during a special military operation, tank support combat vehicles (BMPT) are successfully used, which, being directly in the battle formations of tanks, ensure their combat operations. This is achieved due to the same high level of protection and mobility with tanks, as well as powerful multifunctional armament of the BMPT, which includes two paired 30 mm automatic guns, an anti-tank complex with four supersonic missiles "Attack" and two automatic grenade launchers.
In addition, protected Typhoon-K vehicles and samples of weapons and military equipment created on their chassis show high efficiency in combat conditions.
For example, the use of protected medical vehicles "Lens" during a special military operation, which are designed to evacuate the wounded from the battlefield in conditions of enemy fire, allowed saving a large number of soldiers and officers.
Separately, I would like to focus on the results of the use of new–generation Warrior combat equipment kits, which en masse enter the Ground Forces and allow us to realize our main priority - to preserve the life and health of personnel.
The set of combat equipment "Warrior" as a whole is at the level of the best foreign analogues, and in terms of the security of personal armor protection significantly exceeds them. With a 1.25 times smaller mass, it has a 1.3 times larger area of protection of vital organs."
