According to the newspaper "Take-Off", at the International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2022", the holding "Russian Helicopters" for the first time presented a new version of the modernization of the Mi-28N army combat helicopter at Kubinka airfield. It provides for the refinement of previously released Mi-28N vehicles by equipping them with dual controls, a new optoelectronic station and an on-board defense complex, as well as expanding the range of guided missile weapons.

[Rostov-on-Don] since 2005 and in operational service since 2008, had no control from the front cabin: it appeared only in 2015 on the exported Mi-28NE, and then on the Mi-28UB for its own army aviation, at the same time the contours of the cabin, its door and glazing were changed.
The upgraded Mi-28N is proposed to be equipped with a gyrostabilized optoelectronic system GOES-451 produced by the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant named after E.S. Yalamov of the Shvabe Holding of the Rostec State Corporation (until now, the OPS-28 observation and sighting station developed by the Krasnogorsk Plant named after S.A. Zverev, which is part of the the same holding). The GOES-451 system has already earned recognition - it is used on Ka-52 helicopters, which have been supplied since 2010.
According to the forum, the upgraded helicopter's armament will include guided missiles "Whirlwind", "Chrysanthemum" and "Attack".
Probably, a similar modernization option will be offered to potential foreign customers, and it will be possible both to refine the Mi-28NE helicopters already delivered in this way, and to build new export vehicles in this guise.
