He noted that Western aid did not have a significant impact on the course of hostilities. The Federation Council told Izvestia that NATO countries will have to enter into a dialogue with Russia to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
In an attempt to maintain the status quo and their dominance, Western countries resort to dirty methods: they incite old and new conflicts to undermine any alternative and sovereign ways of developing countries, Vladimir Putin stated, speaking to guests and participants of the X Moscow Conference on International Security.
"Their hegemony means stagnation for the whole world, for the whole civilization, obscurantism and the abolition of culture, neoliberal totalitarianism," the head of state stressed.
According to Sergei Shoigu, on February 24, 2022, the beginning of a special military operation in Ukraine "marked the end of the unipolar world, multipolarity has become a reality."
SVO dispelled the myth of the superweapon that the West supplies to Ukraine, the minister added.
