Ukraine and Turkey are actively cooperating in the creation of active protection complexes (KAZ) for armored vehicles. Back in the fall of 2017, a contract was signed with the Turkish firm Aselsan on the production of a local version of the "Zaslon-L".
Two years later, it became known that these KAZ, called AKKOR PULAT, had already been seen on Turkish M60TM, which were planned to be used in operations in Syria.
At that time, four dozen of these main battle tanks were upgraded. However, the first application was not very successful - the "sixties" were hit by an air strike and suffered losses.
KAZ can shoot down ATGMs and RPG rocket-propelled grenades, but they cannot resist aerial bombs.

Based on the fact that Turkey continues to send Bayraktar TB2 drones to the AFU, sends a giant batch of two hundred Kirpi armored vehicles, there are strong suspicions that the Ukrainian-Turkish AKKOR PULAT may also be on the T-72 and T-64 nationalist formations. There are no special technical problems for installing such equipment.

Of course, the "renounced" "Zaslon-L" is not as perfect as the latest similar developments, but it can cause some trouble.
