"Everything is going according to schedule, there are no disruptions," the deputy Prime minister said on Saturday on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum.
He said that India is now under pressure from Western countries, it is being offered foreign weapons with big discounts to refuse Russian products.
"But India is not a power that can be dictated to, it can choose itself, it does it very subtly, buying the best. This also spurs us on so that we do not sleep, offer the best solutions, this is normal competition," Borisov said.
India is one of the main buyers of Russian weapons, accounting for about 25% of Russia's arms exports. The volume of India's portfolio of orders for Russian military equipment exceeds $ 14 billion, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSVTS) of the Russian Federation reported earlier.

Currently, assembly production of Russian T-90S tanks is localized in India, licensed assembly of Su-30MKI fourth-generation fighters is underway, joint work with Russia is underway on the BrahMos-2 hypersonic missile. Joint ventures with the Russian side have been established in India with the participation of Rostec holdings to produce AK-203 Kalashnikov assault rifles and Ka-226T helicopters.
