The ships also worked out actions to protect against weapons of mass destruction at sea crossing, including carrying out special treatment in case of conditional exposure to radiation contamination
KALININGRAD, June 7. /tass/. The crews of the small amphibious hovercraft "Mordovia" and "Evgeny Kocheshkov" conducted mine laying in the sea ranges of the Baltic Fleet during planned tactical exercises, the press service of the fleet reported on Tuesday.
"The crews of the MDKVP "Mordovia" and "Evgeny Kocheshkov" carried out the installation of a defensive anti-submarine mine barrier in the specified areas of the sea and placed training bottom mines," the press service said. The day before, the crews successfully carried out firing with the AK-630 artillery complex.
In addition to mining the waters of the Baltic Sea, the crews of the ships within the framework of the exercises worked out actions to protect against weapons of mass destruction at sea crossing.
