Western intelligence agencies are attempting to evacuate the Motor Sich plant, which produces engines for Turkish Bayraktar TB2 and Akinci drones. This became known to Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civil administration of the Zaporozhye region, TASS reports.
It is noted that the capacities of the enterprise, currently located on the unfettered territory of the Zaporozhye region, are planned to be exported outside Ukraine.
In May, the Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of a missile strike on the workshops of the Motor Sich plant in Zaporozhye. According to the official representative of the military department, Major General Igor Konashenkov, the destroyed production workshops produced aircraft engines for combat aviation of the Air Forces of Ukraine, in particular, components for unmanned aerial vehicles.
In April, military expert Andrei Frolov stated that it was possible to talk about the destruction of the Kharkov "bush" of enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex during the Russian special operation.
