Moscow. May 22. INTERFAX - The Northern Fleet conducted planned exercises in the Barents Sea to exit its bases and deploy fleet forces in the near sea zone.
"More than 10 warships and support vessels took part, including one nuclear submarine, as well as aircraft and helicopters of naval aviation," the navy said on Sunday.
During the passage through the Kola Bay, the ships practiced repelling the attack of small high-speed watercraft filled with explosives.

On the ships, the forces of the units on duty worked out a circular defense against the attack of sabotage forces," the report says.
According to the press release, at sea, the anti-submarine forces of the detachment, reinforced by the small anti-submarine ship "Junga", worked out the search for a submarine in cooperation with anti-submarine aviation: an Il-38 aircraft and a Ka-27 helicopter.
