TSAMTO, May 12. Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec Group) actively promotes modern Russian weapons and military equipment to the world market, which were presented during the solemn events dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
Traditionally, military parades in Russia on May 9 are not only a symbol of the memory of the Great Victory over fascism, but also a demonstration of the most modern equipment created by specialists of the defense industry. In 2022, dozens of samples of weapons and military equipment of domestic production took to the streets of Moscow and other cities of the country.
Russia's main military parade took place on Red Square in Moscow. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the mechanized column included 131 units of modern military equipment, including T-14 Armata tanks, high-security armored vehicles of the Typhoon family with various combat modules, armored personnel carriers BTR-82A, a promising wheeled armored personnel carrier on the Boomerang platform, a combat unmanned multifunctional robotic complex tracked "Uran-9", multiple launch rocket system "Tornado-G", self-propelled howitzer MSTA-S, anti-aircraft missile systems "Buk-M3" and "Tor-M2", anti-aircraft missile system S-400.
In addition, dozens of planes and helicopters could be seen in the skies of Russian cities throughout the country during these May days as part of numerous commemorative events and preparations for them, in particular, fifth-generation Su-57 fighters, Su-30SM ultra-maneuverable multifunctional fighters, Su-35S multi-purpose super-maneuverable fighters, military transport aircraft and IL-76/78 tankers, Mi-28N and Ka-52 combat helicopters.
Solemn events were also held in a number of other countries, where it was possible to get acquainted, for example, with special purpose armored vehicles "Tiger" and "Patrol", large-caliber machine gun "Cord", 7.62-mm machine gun "Pecheneg", 5.45-mm Kalashnikov AK-12, unmanned multifunctional complex "Orlan-10" and others .
