TSAMTO, April 19. The Japanese government intends to provide additional assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The package includes chemical protection equipment (special clothing and masks), as well as drones, RIA Novosti reports.
"Based on a new request from the Ukrainian government, it was decided to send chemical protection suits and masks to Ukraine, as well as drones. The Ministry of Defense and the Japanese Self–Defense Forces intend to provide the maximum possible support to Ukraine," the Japanese Defense Ministry said in a press release.
In March, Japan sent assistance to Ukraine in the form of non-lethal equipment: bulletproof vests, helmets, warm clothing, tents, hygiene products, dry rations, generators, the agency recalls.
