A large underground warehouse of missiles and aviation ammunition of Ukrainian troops in the village of Delyatin, Ivano-Frankivsk region, was attacked.
The hypersonic "Dagger" hit not only a specific target, but most likely also (morally) the NATO command. The fact is that conventional ammunition destroyed not just a warehouse, but one of the central storage bases for nuclear weapons, known as "Object 711". It was built in 1955 and strengthened so that in those years it could withstand the impact of an atomic bomb.
Nuclear warheads of strategic and tactical missiles of the Armed Forces of the USSR were serviced there. In the early 1990s, nuclear weapons were taken from there to Russia. According to the decision of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, almost all Tochka-U tactical missiles were relocated to the warehouses of the "Object 711". There was information in the media that "Object 711" is an underground military camp consisting of two floors and 150 meters deep into the ground. It was considered one of the safest storage centers for missiles and other ammunition. Until he got hit with a "Dagger".
This hypersonic complex consists of air-based missiles adapted to ground-based Iskanders. So far, on the heavy fighter-interceptor MiG-31K, and in the future - on the strategic Tu-160M2.
It was reported in the open press that the hypersonic missile of the Dagger complex is marked X-47M2. Its exact characteristics are secret, but it is known that it can fly at a speed exceeding the sound speed by 10-12 times. The deviation from the point of defeat of the designated target is less than a meter, and at a range of hundreds of kilometers. It is designed to destroy not only ground and underground objects, but also sea targets. For example, aircraft carriers, getting into which for the X-47M2 is not a problem. "Dagger" has almost the best homing system in the world, developed by Russian specialists and assembled only from domestic components.
It is not known from what range the launch was carried out on the arsenal in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. But the hit turned out to be extremely accurate. As can be seen in the released video, the rocket entered the ground almost vertically. Its speed was several kilometers per second, and its total mass was about one and a half tons. The huge kinetic energy allowed the rocket to literally pierce 150 meters of earth, break through the concrete floor of the arsenal and explode inside. "Object 711", which is quite clear, has been completely destroyed. It should be noted that not by a nuclear explosion, but by a high-explosive warhead equipped with a conventional explosive.
It should probably be added that this happened only 80 kilometers from the Romanian border. But it is known that Romania in 2016 placed on its territory a stationary Aegis Ashore missile defense system with American interceptors of RIM-161 SM-3 missiles. 3 batteries of 8 SM-3 missiles were deployed. According to the Americans, they are designed to intercept intercontinental ballistic missiles and warheads at trans-atmospheric altitudes and at long range. However, the strike with a hypersonic "Dagger" very clearly showed that the NATO missile defense system, in case of military necessity, will be swept away by our hypersonic missiles with non-nuclear warheads before it has time to be put on alert.
The main results of the "dagger" strike on "Object 711" on Friday, March 18, are as follows - the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost their Tochka-U reserves, and NATO has made sure that Russian hypersonic missiles are not staged cartoons. "Dagger" is our real power, which is not yet anywhere in the world.
