Military Watch: the Russian Su-35 fighter has advantages over the American F-22
The Russian Su-35 fighter has advantages over the American F-22 Raptor aircraft, says Military Watch.
"Although the Su-35 was developed primarily as a fighter to gain air superiority, it remains a truly multi-purpose aircraft and, unlike its American competitor F-22 Raptor or its Soviet predecessor Su-27, is capable of deploying a wide range of precision weapons," the publication of the American magazine says.
It is noted that the Su-35 has 12 suspension points for bombs and missiles, allowing you to carry weapons with a total weight of up to eight tons. The fighter's armament consists of R-27, R-77, R-37M and R-73 air-to-air missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 400 kilometers, as well as unguided C-13 and C-25 missiles designed to strike ground positions.
In September 2021, the American publication 19FortyFive wrote that the Russian fourth-generation Su-35 fighter poses a danger to the United States and its allies because of its versatility, but the American fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II aircraft still surpasses it, being in great demand on the world market.
