The leaders were seated at a round table, national flags were placed behind the heads of state. On the screen of a large monitor, the inscription "Training in the management of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation" was visible.
The press service of the President noted that the event had been planned earlier, during the exercises, "the readiness of military command bodies, launch crews, crews of warships and strategic missile carriers to fulfill their tasks, as well as the reliability of weapons of strategic nuclear and non-nuclear forces was checked." In addition, an intercontinental ballistic missile "Yars" was launched from the positional area of the Plesetsk cosmodrome at the Kura test site on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
