More than 50 sea and air targets were destroyed during the exercises by the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, the Guards missile cruiser "Moscow". This was reported today in the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet.
The cruiser worked out the protection of the fleet's bases, repelling a missile strike of a conditional enemy. Glowing aerial bombs dropped from the aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet naval aviation were used as aerial targets.
In addition, the personnel of the combat unit of the cruiser "Moscow" performed artillery firing on target shields that imitated enemy ships, as well as models of floating naval mines.
The shooting took place in the Black Sea as part of exercises led by the commander of the Black Sea Fleet Admiral Igor Osipov.
