"On February 15, the Undaunted TFR sailed into the Baltic Sea and began to implement the acceptance testing program. During the first trip to the sea, the operation of the main power plant and the navigation system of the ship will be checked," the press service said.
The acceptance test program plans several trips to the sea with a total duration of about 30 days. The delivery team of the plant and the Baltic Fleet commission are working on board the ship, which must accept the ship after repair and modernization. Upon completion of sea trials, the Undaunted TFR will be transferred to the Navy and will return to service as part of the Baltic Fleet, the press service added.
TFR "Undaunted" arrived at the PSZ in 2014 to carry out scheduled repairs. The completion dates of the repair were extended based on the results of the defect, which revealed a much larger amount of work than planned.
