Russia has updated its Armed Forces and is in full combat readiness. Such an assessment in its material was given by the Swedish publication Svenska Dagbladet.
"Russia has upgraded its Armed Forces and is at the highest level of readiness in recent decades, both in terms of mobility and technical capabilities," the statement said.
The Swedish publication's website stressed that the Russian army is capable of conducting operations far from its borders, while creating next-generation weapons - anti-satellite and supersonic weapons. According to foreign experts, the Russian Federation has begun to cooperate with China to develop and produce new weapons, as well as conduct joint military exercises.
In January, it became known that the newly formed 20th Guards Carpathian-Berlin Motorized Rifle Division received anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) "Tor-M2". They are a universal short-range air defense system that can work on a wide range of targets - from airplanes and attack helicopters to drones, cruise missiles and precision projectiles.
