VLADIVOSTOK, Feb 11 - RIA Novosti. A detachment of warships of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) in the framework of exercises in the Sea of Okhotsk fired artillery at the ships of the "enemy", reports the Pacific Fleet.
A tactical group consisting of the frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov" and the corvette "Gremyashchy" conducted artillery firing on naval targets - a conditional landing party of the enemy.
Further, during the exercises, the crews will conduct artillery firing at air targets, work out standards for repelling the means of air attack of the "enemy", and also destroy mock-ups of floating mines in an area with a conditional mine danger.
In accordance with the training plan of the Russian Armed Forces for 2022, a series of naval exercises are held in January-February in all areas of responsibility of the fleets under the overall leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Admiral Nikolai Evmenov. In total, it is planned to involve more than 140 warships and support vessels, more than 60 aircraft, 1,000 units of military equipment, and about 10,000 military personnel.
