MOSCOW, February 11. /tass/. Su-35S fighters and S-300 complexes were involved in tactical flight exercises with live firing in the Tver region. This was reported to journalists in the press service of the Western Military District.
"To pass the air defense zone of the imaginary enemy, the crews used the Khibiny-2 electronic warfare system, conducted bombing from heights up to 500 meters, firing unguided aircraft missiles, as well as training air battles with the crews of Su-35S fighters," the district said.
Also, during the tasks, the crews carried out the withdrawal of aircraft from the impact of high-precision weapons and flew to an alternate airfield with refueling in the air.
According to the press service, more than 500 military personnel were involved in the exercises, about 80 units of weapons, military, special and aviation equipment, including S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, were involved.
