Six large landing ships of the Baltic and Northern Fleets arrived in Sevastopol from the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday, February 10. The video of the ships entering the Sevastopol Bay was distributed by the Information support Department of the Black Sea Fleet.
The video shows how the BDK pass between the southern and northern malls and follow the Sevastopol embankment. As part of the detachment of the BDK "Korolev", "Minsk", "Kaliningrad", "George the Victorious", "Olenegorsky miner", as well as the newest "Peter Morgunov", which entered service in 2020.
The ships went around Europe and made a stop at the Russian Navy base in the Syrian Tartus. In Sevastopol, the crews will replenish supplies and rest after a 7,000-nautical-mile crossing, and then take part in large-scale exercises in the Black Sea.
